Another New Low for Canpar

Canpar delivers to me...I am always asked , after I sign, how do I spell my last name....It's ON THE PACKAGE in big bold letters.
That aside, can anyone in the household sign the receipt other than the consignee?

I'm 2 for 2 with Canpar, that is 2 horrendous dealings out of 2.

This is by no means intended as slander towards the company, Just my opinion, but I will never buy from anyone, including dealers on this site, if they only offer Canpar as shipping, free or not.

We offer Canada Post for any non-ammo orders. Not much we can do about the ammo orders. Another option is to ask your local firearms retailer to order the product you are after. WE will sell to them at wholesale and they will in turn sell to you for the retail price as seen on our website.

@ Canada Ammo

LOL I am by no means blaming you for this, I was fully aware that you offer Canada Post as an option, But I made the conscious choice of giving this company another chance. That choice was mine and mine alone. My next Purchase from you ( and yes I will be definitely buying again ) I will use Canada Post :)

And another order of non firearm or ammo not left in special spot!!
After the last go around I thought I was back on track????
Maybe ? Just Maybe? They have gone full retard!!!d:h:

I bought a Da556 complete upper from canadaammo, received when advertised no problems with canpar. The guy seemed nice too, this was my first time dealing with them also.

I too had troubles with getting my deliverys, so I went on stake out! Got him cornered ( I may have scared him a little) he didnt see me comming. Any hey ! he promised to leave my packages at an alternative address if!!! I didn't do stuff like that again. All has been good, sense our little meeting LOL! Didn't git the vibe that he was in any way mentally challenged just an ordinary Joe doing his job.

I just deliver it to my work. Make sure it's ok with your boss first.
I also only put my name on the package -- no business name.

I put a WTS ad for factory shotgun ammo here on CGN and when it sold I shipped it via Canpar. The funny part happened when a delivery guy had to staff the shipping desk while the normal staff member was at lunch: the same exact guy who delivered me handgun ammo to my house two weeks before told me that they never ship ammo and he has never once handled ammo. I wish I had some proof of that, I really do.

CanPar in my area is subbed out to Loomis.

Last week I received a crate of ammo.
Guy was pleasant, I signed for the package.
All looked good.
Wooden crate was packed in a cardboard box.
I then noticed nail holes protruding from the cardboard.
When I removed the cardboard box the top lid of the crate had come loose.
There was no metal strap around the crate.
Luckily the ammo was in spam cans.
If they were not then it would have been messy.
Prior to that I had a delivery notice stuck to my door.
In his hurry to leave the driver had circled the check box that said a visa card was needed for payment??
He missed checking off the box that said he would re-attempt delivery the next day.
Anyhow I was happy to simply receive the packages.
Cheers.

i read all the horror stories about canpar/loomis and it did put me off a bit from
buying ammo online.
but i gave it a shot with canam and delivery is bang on perfect.
i mean 2 days from vancouver to NE sask is un heard of and twice now my ammo
has arrived within the 2 days.

i actually get a sms txt photo off the driver via my daughter of my packages now LOL

Never had a problem with Canpar... or Canada Post for that matter, in the deals I have bought or sent... I guess I have jinxed myself now...damn!

Biggest can par issue I have is that the terminal is an hour each way from my house and they only deliver when I am at work. So "free shipping" costs me more in gas and time than paying for better service from Canada post.

That sucks man... the only time I missed a delivery, had to trek down to the depot...not a huge deal, but your situation....yep...sucks.
