Ok, so I am really having a struggle with this....
I just can't imagine lying on my death bed and telling my grandson "Kid, go open my gun safe. I want you to have my..........NORINCO". Hell the kid probably wouldn't even bother to come to my funeral.
Thanks, I think I know what to do now......But I welcome your thoughts.
If you just want a 1911 "because" check out Cabot Guns.
I will second the STI Trojan. The quality/fit and finish is very close to custom guns costing 2-3 times more.
Once I hit the lotto max jackpot...
Have a look at the STI Trojan. Classic looking gun with great fit and finish and when they say "highend quality for a midrange price" they mean it. Mine has worked like a top right out of the box for over a year now with no tinkering required.
No kidding, i find comments like that funny
I own 1 SAM, not impressed. Don't even keep it in the same safe as my other 1911s.
if all you do is plinking, i guess it would be fine.
the reason they are handfitted, is becuse all the parts are different sizes on the same model. They require it to work. Almost every aftermarket part needs to be handfitted to fit. Even as simple as a MSH.
I wouldn't buy another.
