I got a 1727 LF from Nordicmarksman last Fall . I only shot it from the rest one afternoon . Tried a few shots out of a half a dozen different boxes even some Federal bulk. Everything looked like it was working pretty well. Elly black box was the best of what I tried. ( no supprise) I only Shot about 60 rounds with a relativly low power scope, sighting in and testing a few diffeant loads from the rest but I sure looked like the !/2" challange would be doable with more scope and good ammo. All of the shooting I have did since that day has been ofhand. I am really growing to like this rifle for offhand shooting. I was never a fan of the european style stock ( a bit ugly in my view ,but that's just me) ,but it seems to fit me OK and the trigger is superb. I chose the heavy barrel model , so it would be a bit heavy for some ,but I like it. The action is about the slickest working thing you can get yor hands on. The stock has some nice grain to it which redeams the european style somewhat. I flip- floped between Cooper or Anschutz for quite a long time before pulling the trigger on the Anschutz (pun intended) and have not been disapointed. The Anschutz is for sure pricey , but shooting one will make you forget that.
