Anschutz 1827F from Nordic Marksman- Thank You!

Great shooting!. Accurate rifles are a joy to work with.

The colder winter temps do affect the performance of, not necessarily the rifle, but the ammo.

My Suhl 150 works very well with Polar Biathlon in cold temps, but the ELEY Match EPS that is deadly in summer is only fair when it is cold.

I have shot 10 shot groups as small as .090 @ 50M.
That is when you have to smile.

Regards, Dave.

Mike,

Having problems with my PC sending email so I am sending some info this way. I could do it with my ipad, but they suck for photos!

First off, the butt plate that comes with the 1827 will not work with the MEC Contact III unless you drill and tap it. The drilled mounting holes
in the original Anschutz plate will not line up with the MEC butt plate....good for butt hooks, but not for these.

The anschutz mounting plate # 001115 is ideal both in length and width for a nice fit on the Contact III

With the extra depth of the Contact III you may not need the longer columns, see photos, you will see what I mean!

I maxed out the original columns on the carrier and you can see the overall length you now have. To the ftont of the hand grip 36cm
and roughly to the trigger (depending where you have it) 42CM to the center position.

If you need more photos or pictures, just let me know. Hope this helps!

Brad

^ This is the type of service I was talking about! Nice when the dealer can show proper fit and LOP etc. :D Thanks Brad order is in!

What a beauty! But, isn't it so accurate that it would be very boring to shoot it?!

This type of quality is never boring! :D

New stock arrived today, now have the perfect length of pull! Going to be fun!! Pictured with a few "extras" and the new 10rd mags

Make the target smaller or more distant. Actually , it wouldn't really matter how far or small with rifles like this the driver has little to do but breathe.

Ya this FrankenAnnie can tune in Toyko! If Anschutz could have put the Fortner action on a 1417 with the short barrel I would have been happy too! Still the wood on this makes it special regardless of the extras! :D:D:D Going to be fun!

Rifle is a lot lighter in hand than it looks (minus the NV)
