Any one know what Mdl. this is. I cannot find a mdl. # on the rifle anywhere. Bought as a project.

There are two new in the package on the EE for a good price. They run $95 plus tax and the ride now so two for $160 is a deal on two new ones. Bet itll be a great shooter.

Got the rifle it is marked CIL 125. Came with a 10 rnd. mag. Cleaned the bore and it looks very good. Will make a good winter project. I am looking forward to playing with this little rifle.

Picture of the action is not very clear but it looks like it is one of the earliest Anschutz models, it came out before the Model 64 action (which came out in 1964). They sell for quite a bit less than the 64 and a LOT less than a 54. Anschutz had a bewildering array of model numbers for many very similar rifles. Model # is less important than the actual action. If it was made for CIL as the model 125 it could be the Flobert II action or a 64 as they made guns for CIL for quite a few years. Even the Flobert II, is still a pretty good action for its day.

The OP's rifle is a Flobert action Anschutz, probably an Anschutz 1400 or a CIL Anschutz 125 (the same rifles). The Flobert rifles were the most entry level of Anschutz rifles, whether sporter or target models.

Picture of the action is not very clear but it looks like it is one of the earliest Anschutz models, it came out before the Model 64 action (which came out in 1964).

The Anschutz 64 was not named for the year of it's introduction or design. The 64 models were available as early as 1958 and were advertised in contemporaneous firearms-related literature. I had a 1961 Anschutz model 1402, a 64 action rifle.

Photos of the bolt/receiver are blurry, but similar to the Anschutz 1450 I once had. I've never seen that exact stock anywhere, or on any Anschutz...but it doesn't mean it isn't one?

The Anschutz 1450 is a Flobert action Anschutz, just like the OP's.

The simplest and easiest way to distinguish a Flobert action Anschutz from a 64 is to look at the bolt handle.

Below a Flobert action Anschutz. The Flobert bolt closes in front of the trigger.

The 64 action Anschutz rifles below show the bolt more in line with the trigger.
