Could anyone tell me what a decent price to pay for a Model 54 or Model 64 Anschutz? I honestly wouldn't need the peep sights as long as its ready to mount a scope to. Are they all heavy barrels? Whats the difference between the 54 and 64? I had pretty much decided on a Mark II TR but am wondering if I should get an Anschutz? What are the chances of getting one that cant shoot? How expensive to rebarrel? This would be for mainly fun matches nothing overly competitive. I have also been looking at the anschutz Model 64 MP-R but cant find any Canadian prices.
Honest opinions please.
Thanks
Here I have some (general) information about models:

About prices - since market is quite narrow - there is no that big supply (and demand), so prices may vary. Monitor EE section, also you can post your WTB there - that's how I've got my rifle. It was Match 54 single loader with prone stock and two-stage hair trigger. Price was less than $700. About how it shoots - well, I'd really hope that I would be able to complain some day

I don't think it's possible to get an Anschutz which doesn't shoot.
About 54 and 64. Usually it's agreed that 54 is slightly more advanced on everything - more accurate, more "heavy duty", faster lock, better trigger, etc. I'd say that the only difference for the non-pro people is the trigger - two-stage trigger pull which can be set as light as 70 grams is noticeable nicer. But that's doesn't mean that my coach can't easily overshoot me with the old beaten club CIL rifle/64 action
If you are looking something for the fun only, and using scope rather than peep sights - I don't think you need Anschutz, especially 54. It's like buying BMW M3 solely to pickup your wife from work.
