Antelope hunt next week!

No way I'd hunt with a decoy in rifle season.

The sight lines are long and WIDE OPEN on the flatlands. I have my opinions of personal visibility too, but you see the arse end of running antelope herds a lot more than a single one standing stock still out in the open.

If you can see them, they've already seen you. Just keep telling yourself that.

But, if there's two of you, or they're fixated on someone else, opportunity knocks, if you don't mind a few cactus spines. Antelope is some of the best eating.

Congrats Bfranklin!!

My issue was never spotting them, it was getting close enough without being spotted! Although as I said in my story, I also ended up with an easy shot.

This is the same one I posted a pic of Tuesday. That day it was 200 yds away, this morning was a 300 yd shot. And then drove the truck right up to it.

Congrats Cam!
I see it often. Good things happen when you slow down.

Are you getting him mounted?

Thats awesome!
