Anti hunting page on FB

I agree, it's not how violent the computer game is. It's how much time is spent playing them. A lot of people have addictions to video games either because they are withdrawn from social interaction or withdraw as a result of spending so much time playing them. They eventually become awkward and weird. Also coupled with a terrible diet they usually have a chemical imbalance, anxiety and depression issues. They stop maturing socially, they lose connection with reality, have no understanding of the consequences of their actions, lose their empathy and generally begin to believe they are owed something by society. They have a selfish child like attitude just like every welfare bum that has spent too much time alone sitting on their ass feeling sorry for themselves.

I have to disagree with this as well though. I don't see any connection between any of that simply due to extended amount of time gaming. Regardless on the amount of playing, or the age group.

I spend 20-40 hours a week gaming, I know many people who do the same from young to old... Some of who are even hunters themselves. And none who display any of the traits you're saying the gaming is supposed to result in.

Any basis for your claims?

I had a friend from my teenage years un friended me and blocked me on FB when I tried explaining about wildlife management etc.. she just wouldn't listen,I expected a bit of debate from a psychologist, but her leaf muncher instincts kicked in I guess.

Caution: do not click on the link if you have high blood pressure.

In the comments there's a ton of calls for violence against hunters. Even in the pages own "about" section they use the hashtag: #HuntTheHunters. Surely this is a violation of facebook terms of usage?

FB is anti-gun and anti-hunter. if it is a violation of their terms, then i bet they will change the terms..... i deleted my account for multiple reasons, anti-me being oen of them.

I have won countless debates on Facebook about hunting and gun issues and have changed a lot of minds. If you are not a complete fudd it is a valuable resource to advance our cause.

There's a whole level of stupid on that page that I'll just avoid. The trolling on other people's pages is a bit over the top.

A bit of an extreme point of view.
Personally I haven't played a video game in 10-15 years. But I played a few in the day; and I don't seem to exhibit any of the symptoms you describe...don't ask my ex-wife of course.
Statements such as this don't help to unite our efforts against this anti-hunting BS IMO
Just my opinion of course.
