I just wanted to share that there is a "community" on Facebook called "trophy hunters are vermin". Their goal is to to shut down Facebook pages that show "cruelty"(hunting, harvested animals). They post links all over for their whacko friends to go and hurl insults on hunting pages, and complain to Facebook. I just thought I'd return the favour by posting a link here so everyone can go see. I tried reasoning and debate, they are extremists and are there to insult and attack. They use the pics for propaganda, so don't send them hunting pics. Hit the button with 3 dots that says more, then report. Feel free to share the link with any pro hunting groups, and we can give them their own medicine. I like to troll them by "pretending" to be animal rights and say stupid things. I even put some tree hugger picture for my FB profile pic, lmfao! Screw the antis! Here's a link.

i'm not a member on tardbook...... and hell will freeze over before you see me join. it is just simply amazing how people cannot see how conservation works. how hunting plays into everyones traditional heritage. it's either we hunt and eat them or they die of disease, old age, hunger, predators etc.......... it's funny how they act so tough behind the keyboard but i tell ya right now. no one in there right mind would dare talk to me like that in person. i respect people for what they wanna be and thing's get ugly when i don't get that same treatment in return. to many dramatic fools on tardbook and i don't even like the wife being a part of it. i actually sometimes troll her in real life teasing her about tardbook LOL. When i actually sit here and think what site on the internets would improve human life the most if removed/abolished the best example i can think of is tardbook. people spend way to much time on that site and lose all concept of reality. it's not even an enthusiest site. it's really just a #####ing and moaning site. i would love to make a post on that page but that would mean i'd have to join and that ain't happening. they need to be put in there place.

They dont like it much when pro hunters/shooters spam them. Hit em hard!

I replied and everyone here should - What do you expect of a culture raised on video games? Most of them have no role models.

I'm not sure what video games has to do with role models or being anti hunter.

That being said I agree the page is ludicrous.

It's because video games give instant gratification where hunting does not, so instead of having a role model (usually male) to teach your children patience, love and respect for the wild it's far easier to give them a video game to keep them occupied. Taking a kid hunting requires a commitment on the role model's part.

So what they don't understand or have any experience with, they soon learn to despise, especially as television's anti hunting personalities now becomes the new dominant role models.

You either write in the blank page or someone else will write in it for you.

It's obvious that a lot of these comments on Facebook come from younger people.

I don't think it's as simple as some people make it out to be. Video games don't take over someone, the person still has the ability to think for themselves and make decisions. I don't think video games have really any input on an otherwise normal person when it comes to real world issues.

They don't just say oh I've never been hunting so it's bad. Its not hard for a young person to go online and look into something and then after make an informed decision on what they think should be right. Regardless if that opinion is anti or pro anything... I don't see it being an issue of age or video games or instant gratification.

But I guess that's just my opinion.

I was unfriended by someone who is likely a part of that group, but not before being called a bunch of fantastic names and wished dead lol. Funny how they can stoop to such lows and feel like they're the better person(s). Extremists of any kind are bad news in my book.

I see all the usual types of comments and vitriol on that page. However it seems to appeal to a broader spectrum of anti's slagging just "Trophy" hunters as the name implies.
I will back up ethical hunters 100% when the animals are being taken to use for meat, or warranted control. I do find Trophy hunting repugnant however.

I agree, it's not how violent the computer game is. It's how much time is spent playing them. A lot of people have addictions to video games either because they are withdrawn from social interaction or withdraw as a result of spending so much time playing them. They eventually become awkward and weird. Also coupled with a terrible diet they usually have a chemical imbalance, anxiety and depression issues. They stop maturing socially, they lose connection with reality, have no understanding of the consequences of their actions, lose their empathy and generally begin to believe they are owed something by society. They have a selfish child like attitude just like every welfare bum that has spent too much time alone sitting on their ass feeling sorry for themselves.

I let them know that theres a place for all Gods creatures, right next to the mashed taters and gravy, then I asked if they all eat tofu or something LOL. Brain dead morons if you ask me!

How backwards is our society when you have spineless meat eaters who call hunters evil. Hunters take personal responsibility for the meat they eat and the life it cost while these keyboard heros push that responisbilty entirely off to some poor bastard making minimum wage on a slaughterhouse floor. These people are so institutionalized that they don't really acknowledge that meat in the grocery store came from an animal. I have respect for vegans because they at least make the personal sacrifice for their views, these anti hunters though call us cruel while they have a mouthful of half-chewed hamburger??
