Antique Photos--Post what you got

wat a very nice gun....
Well here is a photo to get the ball rolling on a new title
Christensen2b01.jpg

The gun is a 16 guage pinfire made in Denmark. I made up shells using a lathe turned base and expanded 1/2" copper water pipe.

Cheers mooncoon

Nickel plated Remington 1858 .31 New model.

Kind of an odd duck, the barrel is longer than normal for a .31 pocket revolver. Has a new production replacement cylinder and nipples. Action works like new. Iron/Steel framed gun instead of brass.

I just got this Redfern & Bourne percussion shotgun with the intention of making it a wall hanger. After giving it the once over its in pretty good shape, I'm starting to think I want to shoot it.

Acouple nice little pocket poppers you got there. I have been collecting .32RFs for the last 4 years or so, they are a load of fun.

Congrats on your new (addiction) I mean that.

Heres my new to me 1803 Harpers Ferry by Antonio Zoli. 58 Cal with a beautiful bore and a very quick sparky lock.
She came to me very plane jane so I stripped her and have been giving her a hand rubbed raw linseed oil/mineral spirit finish.

A very handy rifle that I got for a AMAZING deal in the EE.

You are sitt'n pretty there infidel !.
Tell us all about the Colt ... please?.

picked up the Colt on the EE recently for a good price, it was refinished by Colt sometime after its birth in 1876, chambered in 455 MK II. New 1st gen cylinder and barrel, new internals. Basically a "new" 138 year old gun.
