I just ordered my first ever rifle — CZ 457 Lux

Picking it up mid to late March.

Decided I wanted a really accurate 22lr to learn how to shoot properly.
I can shoot the 22 on our property.

I started hunting last season with my FiL to teach and guide me.

I found that there were shots I didn't take, that I probably could have if I were more comfortable.

I decided to get the Lux because I wanted to learn how to use the iron sights as a base level experience. I can get a scope and tie on cheek riser at a later date.

Really excited to be able to get some really good practice in.

If you want something different then the Ruger 10/22 a Henry lever action is a fun one to go shooting with.

This is exactly my dilemma right now. I might have to get both and see. One for me, one for her.
