Any 358 Win Lovers out there?

I don't think I would buy into the twist rate having much of anything to do with velocity loss in this case.

Every time I stumble into a 35 cal thread thread gunrunner8 is blathering on about pressure spikes and tight twist barrels. When confronted he has never dredged up a single piece of evidence that the effects he is so concerned about are anything more than completely negligible. I think we can all safely ignore his rather odd twist rate fetish. :p

358

I have a model 81 BLR in 358 and I love this rifle/caliber configuration. I have shot moose, black bear and dear with this rifle. I find it perfect for most hunting applications I do. I was loading 225 partititions but recently have gone with the much cheaper 225 grain Sierra Game Kings. The 358 is just a joy to shoot as it hits game quite hard and doesn't recoil like my 350 mag does. But then again, I am biased as I love just about anything 35 Caliber.

Watch for the NEW 200gr Nosler Accubond this year, it will be wicked in our BLR's!
