I have two pmags that I use just for practicing manipulations etc. I like them. But... I never invested in them as my go to mag for the following reasons. There are too many issues with needing the right generation for some firearms to work. If you run various platforms that use the STANAG mags then you can run into issues. I use the same mags in my AR15 rifles, Tavor and T97. The D&H mags have worked great in all three platforms. I have about 30 of those mags and so far no complaints. I paid about $16 each, they are tethlon coated and have the grey magpul anti tilt follower. For now I will stick with those as the mainstay for my STANAG mags.
The only reason I've generally stayed away from pmags have been the price (paid $12 each for my gen2 on sale but prices at times have been excessive), requiring a specific gen to work properly in various rifles and reports of some gens causing damage to non AR rifles with bolt lift issues. Also it should be noted that they are a bit longer than comparable STANAG mags which could affect using them when shooting prone depending on the firearm. Tavor comes to mind as an example. They are well made, work well when they work, are durable and look cool. But all is not perfect.
Why run pmags when you can have atrs 10 round pistol mags? They're just as good and have an extra 5 rounds.
Sounds like a no brainer to me, just limited by supply at the moment.

The issue is your rifles not the mags. For guns made out of spec(the magwell that is) there will naturally be issues, but the Pmag specifically is not out of spec. It's made for the rifle that the STANAG standard was derived from/for.

Yet STANG standard works great. Sorry but I don't care what the reason is. The sollution is really simple and it doesn't involve pmags if you want one mag for all your STANAG magazine using firearms.
7 AR15, 1 Tavor, 1 T97. D&H mags work perfectly in all of them. I can't say that about my pmags. I also don't like the idea of various gens having to be used for specific firearms.
My point still stands, the Pmag was built and designed around the rifle that the STANAG standard was derived from, and it works in MILSPEC guns. Issues encountered with non MILSPEC guns are not the result of "bad mags". Nothing really wrong with a USGI aluminum magazine; Except they don't have the consistency in product dimensions that a Pmag has and they deform easily from being dropped or stepped on, something the Pmag has zero issues with.

Your point is very interesting from an academic point of view. Thanks for the insight. Now in a non academic setting I will enjoy my 30 D&H mags that work in all my STANAG magged firearms.
OK I guess I have to spell it out for you. Your T97 does not have an in spec STANAG mag well, it's a Chinese POS. The Tavor also has a questionable mag well that does not accept all STANAG mags, which would lead one to believe that its the rifle and not the mags. If your DH mags are working then carry on, but don't blame an in spec STANAG mag for not working in your out of spec guns.

"Murcia" because anything else is questionable....or a pos.
Lol
I don't recall ever saying such a stupid statement.
