Any decent scopes around $200???

Tasco 3-9x40 at princess auto for 99.99, currently on sale for 48 bucks. It’s your standard “came with the gun” scope and I wouldn’t pay more than that for something else unless you’re willing to pay significantly more

Burris fullfield IV 2-10. Have one it’s awesome I think the glass better than the E1’s I used and some models are illuminated.. around 300-350 on buy and sell

I had one of those bushel firefly’s ? It came with a little flashlight that you shone in it and it lit up the reticle.
I had it on my 7 mm rm for a few years and it worked awesome.

Last moose I took using the 7 mm Rm and that scope was at 248 yards.

Pretty sure it was around the $200 price

It’s the same scope that comes on budget rifles like savage axis, etc. He probably won’t notice any difference between a $100 scope and a $200 scope. I’m just saying I’d skip the $200 price range entirely and either buy the tasco and save 150 or go right for the 400-500 range

Vortex crossfire II 3-9x40. Have a couple of them. Never had an issue. And I hunt hard. One took a good bang to the bell. Still held zero. Still using it.

The new vortex crossfire HD scopes are good value with the HD glass, also they have several models with illuminated reticles.

Lots of nice used scopes for $200. If you are planning to take the rifle to the Olympics or shoot game a mile away, well $200 won't cut it. Scopechiefs can usually be found at gun shows. They are good scopes. Look around a bit. My gopher guns, all but one, sport Leupold scopes of various models, most purchased used on here or at gun shows.

I’ve picked up two used over the last 6 years. One for $225 and the other $200. I put them on my cheaper plinking rifles. One was a 3-9 the other a 2-10. They are out there, just have to look.
