I've been using it in my Rossi 44 mag. with cast bullets. Around 12 gn, IIRC. Haven't tried them for accuracy, but a nice plinking round. I'm using it with 240 gn semi-WC and 250 gn. RN.
Slight and I mean very slight primer flattening out of a Sig P226.
Clean at this level as well but more than most would want for target shooting. Major PF looks pretty easy to achieve.
I just loaded 200 rounds of 44 Spl with HS6. I used the Winchester primer. I usually use the magnum primer, for better SD.
This is a very good powder for near max loads in non-high pressure calibers, like 38 Spl, 44 Spl, 45ACP. Not good for down loading to plinker velocity.
Ganderite when are you writing a book on reloading ? I would buy it in a heart beat.
Not sure of which I'm more envious of your knowledge or your marksmanship.
HS6 = Win 540, both good in the pistol/revolver loads mentioned, and excellent in 1-1/4- 1-1/2 oz 12 ga, and 1-1/8 oz 16 ga, 1oz 20ga, and even some heavy 28 ga. loads.

I bet most of what I say here is written in the first half of each loading manual. It is a fascinating hobby. Read the books. All that trivia adds up after awhile.
I use 40 grs under a 7/8 oz lee slug for between 1900-2000 fps. Recoil is sharp. My rifled slug barrel is faster then my smooth bore. This load is not listed in any book and I don't recommend it. Accuracy was Approx 4" edge to edge at 50 yards. I never got the lee slugs to group as well as factory slugs but they're fun to play with. I have a couple thousand cast
