ANY Modern ERA Russian Sniper Rifles for SALE in Canada Im thinking Dragonov line

Armrus's owner said the guns got shipped elsewhere, I believe the USA at that time. He had approval before importing them from the government, and then when they landed they where deemed an AK variant so prohib. He fought them because he said it was there fault they approved it in the first place. He also said he was making a lot of money selling the guns but his health went to sh!t so that was that. There was also a break in from tunneling through a next door store wall that din't help anyone and there was all the stuff he said was getting stolen at Canada customs during "inspections". He said he had only experienced that type of thing in 3rd world hell holes.

There was a number of Berkut-2М1 rifles imported by Valerie @ Armrus
A fun rifle, but too $$ for my taste.

The Berkut is a civilian rifle from the ground up and holds the edge for accuracy. Also it was on par for the price of a Tigr so you wouldn't have had a bargain either way.
I wasn't a fan of the finish on the rifle personally, but it still was a tempting buy at Armrus and probably went for pennies when he was closing up shop. I still think it should be for sale in Canada but the prices are always Canadian style with huge markups.
From the targets I have seen the gun shoots better then all these 3000$ M14's we have in this country.

Interesting . Were these rifles destroyed by the RCMP as being prohibited ; did the RCMP pay for them ; or were the rifles sold to another country . How many rifles did Armrus bring in ?

What bozo deemed a dragunov as a AK variant? Besides the exterior look and the bolt the dragunov is a variant of the svt40

The same friendly folk who deemed a 22lr can be a variant of a 7.62x39 rifle... and who thought that a name was enough justification to ban a firearm...

If you want to have a some fun, try to get them to send you the legal definition of what constitute a <variant>

This is the closest I've ever come

There was Medved rifle that is derived from SVD available however they are high end hunting rifles and expensive. I highly doubt that there is more then 5 in Canada

If any one of the other 4 owners want to get rid of their rifle, PM me. I've been searching for one for a while. The only one have seen was at a acquaintance's place and he is certainly not selling!
