any one hunt the simcoe forest for Turkey??

3 times out, 3 different tracts.
1st, Two ladies with 3 yappy dogs coming out as I was going in...Scouting trip with no turkey sign.
2nd, very small tract, neighbour had his blind set up beside the fence
3rd, Beautiful set up, started calling, heard some responce, then Shotgun blasts South of me. Got to meet a CO and OPP to check my "papers"

I've yet to see another soul out yet. There are certain tracts I stay out of because it seems like everyone and his dog hunts there but I've yet to see or hear a turkey there.

At least we're still seeing the Toms on our Springwater private property. Hopefully one will be in the bag by the end of the month.
