Ever considder the CHIAPPA RHINO 50D in 357MAG ?
It's a gun that I really wanted to like when it came out. I finally got to handle and dry fire one at Wanstalls. Fit in the hand was good but the DA trigger was very heavy and full of little oddities in the motion. And in looking over the insides of the action on various internet sites I decided that it was too big a gamble to take to buy one and then try to make it feel like a S&W trigger.
Besides, it's made by Chiappa. I've had one disastrous dealing with their product myself. Two others I shoot with have had other nasty breakdowns. Then I hear about a gunsmith that shudders when one comes in the door because he's found that they take too many shortcuts on the inside. So while it's a gun I'd like to like I'll let it pass.
