the 3030 offers no great challenge, but each style of rifle can have it's own idiosyncrasies.
I too would Caution you against Pointy bullets IN TUBE MAGAZINE RIFLES until you understand ALL the reasons that lead to said caution. Then, you make up your own mind.
if you are using a Single shot, like a Rossi, or NEF, or any other single shot, then as long as the bullet is right diameter for the bore, you can probably find load data for it.
