Any regrets on getting yourself a GSG .22lr?

I like it - fun to shoot and fairly accurate with right ammo. But when i first got it i was dissapointed with the (bb gun like) quality. I guess i expected too much. Sights are plastic and really cheapen the gun tho. Still i had much better quality .22's that i sold because they weren't as fun as gsg.

I sold mine after 2 month....hate the poor quality of GSG and having way too many stove pipe hick-ups, I prefer my MKIII Hunter 4.5 bbl, you'll never have problems with a Ruger 22

1300 rounds and I think I may have had a dozen issues with cheap bulk ammo only being used. For a rimfire that is more than acceptable. Of course I love breaking downa dn cleaning the actions of all my guns so my stuff runs like a top.

It's a great gun for the price.

The CZ-Kadet .22 is definitely a better quality gun, but it's more than double the price.

The finish on the slide wears off on the GSG. But you can alway send the slide for Arma-Coat if you want to. The finish on the frame is solid.

Extremely fun...mainly because the pistol itself is inexpensive.
Mine is scary accurate and it had one or two stovepipes in about 2000rds.
I like everything about it except for the plastic sights.

My GSG is out for service not happy at all. The place I bought from said about a week to get fixed been about a month.

Been happy with mine. Have over 1200 rounds through it. Just just a hand full of FTF's and FTE's. I find it fun to shoot and the price wasn't too bad. It's also easy to clean. The only complaint I have is with the plastic sights. Two of the three front sights that came with it are bent to the left. I'll be changing mine to metal (as soon as they come in).

I went with a ruger 22/45 after witnessing my shooting buddy have tons of problems with his. Barrel bushing broke, rear sight won't stay tight and wanders, and I have personally witnessed 5 stovepipes with one mag! Granted some ammo is better than others. My ruger runs like a top and is scary accurate...

Fun to shoot if you are looking to practice on a 1911 platform. It is not a perfect gun but Blueline has been very efficient addressing Quality Issues and sending parts as required. Aftermarket parts are plenty. Accuracy is above average. Not bad for the price. But if you are looking for a more solidly built, pistol out of the box, Ruger 22/45 or Browning Buckmark might be worth looking. So as Beretta Neos and S&W within the same price range.

One thing everyone should know is dont grease this gun - it will jam! Use oil instead and you won't have any problems. Mine is very reliable. Also it shoots better with 40gr ammo.

The only problem i am having with mine is failure to feed. I spent a fair bit on this gun to have it for Steel Challenge competition and so far with it's issues i couldn't shoot a competition with it if i wanted to, so not happy.

I have no regrets even after breaking a guide rod. Blue Line had me back shooting in less than a week. Now that's service!
