My GSG is out for service not happy at all. The place I bought from said about a week to get fixed been about a month.
Mine has been nothing but trouble. FTF, FTE, Stovepipes from the beginning, and now a broken firing pin.
I put 200 to 400 rnds a week through it (yes, it gets lots of use). Had it for a year now. I've tried several brands of ammo, very little if any difference. I've used 7 or 8 different lubes, sprays, solvents and none make any difference to performance, except it really won't work worth a damn on grease type lubes.
Would I sell it? Nope. Don't know why.
PM sent
Allot of the broken firing pins (95 percent of the ones we replaced) The customer had removed the mag safety and the pin showed signs of dry firing. The GSG 1911 is not meant to be dry fired as it's a rim fire and dry firing can damage the firing pin. The slide is designed to lock open on the last round to prevent dry firing.

What sights did you put on.... looking for metal sights for mine as well.Nope. Changed the sights to adjustable sights and couldn't be happier (also with aftermarket ergonomic grips. Left grip thumb rest and a little rise on the right grip. Fits like a glove. Forgot from where I got the grips.)

I want to know as well. I want to put some sights on mine that are more visible. I could just get some whacked out colored nail polish and do the dots, but.....
I thought I read somewhere there was an issue with replacement sights not fitting the "cut out" of the originals.
I'm wondering about other parts interchangability too. I know about 85% fit full size 1911's but don't know which ones. I'm thinking about flat backstraps etc. And are the main springs the same as other 1911's?
BTW - Blue Line has come through for me !! Excellent service.
