Wow... looking good guys! Was out last weekend and didnt see much of anything other than tracks.

I think its just to early for that in our area Steyr, where I hunt in the Townships, I usually only start seeing scrapes and rubs closer to the end of this month, especially if the temperature drops. I did see a nice doe about 25 yrds. from my stand though, thats always good to see especially since I have licence for both a buck and doe again this year. :D

Cheers!!

I noticed two really nice fresh rubs last week but no scrapes....I didn't bother walking in the bush because I was just basically scouting and ended up jumping some deer when I wanted to get in an out as undetected as possible. The two rubs I seen where near the edges of the tree line....are there usually more in the woods on their trails...im kind of new to deer hunting and still learning a lot!

Went for a look around on sat, norubs or scrapes. We need aome -10 weather to kick er into gear.Got my 3tags on sat,but won't go out till it cools off a bit.Good luck all.

From our shooting shack, this evening, I watched a lot of deer feeding in my son's rolling farmland .The most deer that I saw at one time was 29, ranging in distance from 16 to 500 yds .The ratio of adult and yearling bucks and does was about even . I watched an 9-pointer lick/smell a branch near the forest edge but never noticed him making a scrape. Watched an 8-pointer and a 6-pointer push each other around in a couple of not very aggressive sparring matches .
Lots of deer ...no big bucks .

Was out putting up a treestand & putting out the last of the apples in the old orchards & saw not a single scrape or rub  lots of fresh poop piles with apples in them thou

was out setting up my stand yesterday: scrapes everywhere (well, every 100 m along the line) and a few rubs. Full moon tonight and the last few days have been frosty overnight. Things are coming along quickly in Thunder Bay. Best of luck to y'all

may your bullets find pelt
