Any word on development of a short GSG-16 barrel?

Any luck getting that barrel unthreaded? Im exploding with excitement

We did it this morning. It was glued onto the barrel trunnion but we got it off. We are sorting out the blanks today to turn these. Length to start will be 9" and will need to be installed by a machinist or gunsmith. Unless you are very competent on the tools I would not define this as a D.I.Y. job. After the new barrel is installed into the trunnion and the Loctite has set the extractor notch will need to be re-cut into the new barrel wall.

Estimated cost for the 9" barrel will be $199.99. If you want us to install it into your rifle and do the barrel swap for you then you can add $85 to that price.

Can I ship my rifle to ya now to have the new barrel and installed??

Yes, once we get the barrels done and ready to sell. Otherwise please don't ship anything yet, we just don't have the room to stockpile guns we don't have parts to work on.

The ball is rollin', we are on it...

sky52, thank you very much for helping this project along. Giving up use of your latest toy for a couple weeks is quite hard to do.
Cheers to you,

I'm in. I rebuilt major aircraft components for decades. I think I can handle this barrel swap. I will be one of the foolish ones to just get the barrel sent.

Cheers
