I was loading some .38 Special brass that I acquired in a trade and had a new issue pop up:
The decapping pin went right through the primers and punched the anvil out the back without budging the primer in the pocket. I was loading on a Hornady progressive so the extruded metal locked up the shellplate tight. I had to clear the shellplate and remove the retaining bolt to get the cases out again. I can't imagine how the primers are stuck in there that firmly?
