I am new here and don’t claim to know anything other than what I have done in the field
I lived in Europe for 40 years and was introduced to 9.3 calibre while chasing wild boars and it really is super
Please try it
Low recoil, huge wound channels , cheap to reload
Good on barrels
To be point in the last decade I even shoot rabbits with it just to practice and prepare for Africa
I have a number of hunting rifles that I can choose from, yet I find myself bringing my Husqvarna 1600 9.3x62 more often than not. Bison, moose, bears and caribou have all tipped over using the 9.3
Oh I totally understand what you are saying. I was just wondering what I could ballpark compare it to to get my head wrapped around it. I shoot a 7x65R and often tell people who look at me sideways, it’s kinda like Europe’s 30-06 .Dilly
Just another calibre. They are very similar
Imagine you are in Africa and shall we say jonhanneberg, walk into a gun shop sinceyour airline mishandled your ammo box and you ask for 35 whelan ...
Know what I mean
No animal will complaint when hit by either
Really down to your skill and choice of bullets
I would say there is better choice of 9.3 projectiles around than 35 ... especially outside North America
