Just spoke to the owner of Xreload. He was made aware if this end if may.
They hired a company to wipe everything and didn't find Hard proof but they did get an external employee fired because of irregular activities.

Apparently, from june 1st, everything should be back to normal.

That's what i've learned.

LOL. That's also what they said when I called them almost 18 months ago....don't believe those people. Their business is simply organized crime. They might sell reloading components but I bet you they make much more money from fraudulent activity.

I have stuff I wish to order but don’t want to use my CC,
Do they do EMT and how safe would an EMT be at this point?

Don't live scared. Live wary. CC is probably the safest transaction method. Monitor your statements, if its not yours , you don't pay. This is an oversimplification, but holds for the vast majority of frauds.

Those are pretty strong words. Where did you get this from.

My purchase from X-Reload was May 8th, and on June 9th my card was fraudulently used (but caught my MasterCard - I received a phone call about suspicious actively on June 10th). Fingers crossed it has been solved. Canadian shooting retailers don't need the headaches.

My Visa was violated starting June/01. I thought it was after a Brownells purchase (seemed to be an issue with them a while ago.) But at the same time I had 3 orders through Xreload.

My CC card company called me 19 May and suggested I cancel my card as there had been a string of fraud attempts against cards used at a company I had recently dealt with. They would not tell me the name of the company.
I canceled and had a new card in 2 days.

Had a purchase from X-Reload on 11 May so suspect that was the trigger....

I feel bad for them, they are a terrific company to deal with.

If they've had this issue in the past like it has been suggested and it is still ongoing - are they really a good company to deal with?

In my opinion, yes. Firing a ####/crooked employee - what else can they do? If they guy took a list of CC numbers it can take months for some of them to be 'tested and used'. The numbers get sold in blocks.

So you can add me to the number that have had fraudulent activity after placing an order with Xreload. The CC company caught and blocked it, but still inconvenient. My order was placed before I saw this thread, or I might have had second thoughts.

I'd say YMMV... I wanted to add to my online order once... the reply was less than stellar and worse when I reiterated that I wanted to BUY more stuff and add it to the original (ended up my last order with them). I'm glad I weened my need from them with other retailers due to the fact that my card had to get cancelled due fraudulent charges ($650 to 700, 5 times in one night, lol) - BUT yes CC's are the safest way to spend due to the fact you are only liable to a max of $50 and you usually don't pay that.

I ordered from X-Reload in early June with no issues seen on my credit card. As well, made three orders from them in 2020 with no issues no noted.

However, I did order from another site sponsor in March and my card was compromised within a day. The credit card company stopped the transactions and refunded all of the fraudulent charges. Just emphasizes the need to monitor any card that you use for online purchases.

Bought from Xreload the end of April, card had a #### ton of uber eats charges a week later and was cancelled by visa. I don't have an uber eats account.

This eaxct thing happened to me as well. About ~ 1 month after using x-reload. I had not used my credit card for 8+ momths previous to ordering from x-reload and then boom... a pile of ubereats orders (of which I have never used nor do I have an account with or ever used the app). I think it may be more than coincidental given the frequency reported in this thread.

Well, I'd say the culprit is a well-fed individual with a taste for expensive women's clothing!

That aside, there's not much doubt that X-Reload is, or was, a common denominator in this.
Too many people have had the same experience for it to be a coincidence.

The one conversation I had with them on the phone about a year and a half ago wasn't confidence-inspiring, so I decided to buy locally and paid a little more for my trouble.
Turns out it may have been a bargain after all. Cancelling credit cards is a pain in the azz I can do without.

In this day and age, anyone that doesn't have email or text notification on their bank and credit card transactions is running blind. You know immediately if something happens that you didn't authorize, but your bank is making an educated guess at best.

I had this happen in April. Right after using my credit card with X-reload there was a series of $200 charges for apple.com until my card was maxed at which point they went to $1 charges.

Good to hear they’re looking into it though. This won’t deter me from shopping with X-reload at all, but I probably won’t with a credit card.

I'm not sure why anyone would change anything, the system's working perfectly. The credit card companies detect and reverse the fraudulent charges whilst making billions off interest.

Perfect! lol.
