Add me to the list of victims.

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. This prompted me to look at my credit card statement more closely and Lo and Behold, I had a fraudulent charge for upwards of $1100. I called TD right away to report the fraud.

Was this a purchase in June of this year or before? (This will speak volumes to their credibility with regards to the fixing of the situation)

Just checked my statement, two $130 online gaming charges, um nope not me. I guess I'm joining the new credit card club. I did make a few online purchase from from site sponsors but not xreload. I gotta feeling a third party payment processing business is compromised.

i also had my CC frauded and had recently purchased from X-reload but in there defense I had ordered from them many times in the past without issue.

This eaxct thing happened to me as well. About ~ 1 month after using x-reload. I had not used my credit card for 8+ momths previous to ordering from x-reload and then boom... a pile of ubereats orders (of which I have never used nor do I have an account with or ever used the app). I think it may be more than coincidental given the frequency reported in this thread.

very similiar situation here except mine was skipthedishes.

Are you speaking of Higginsons? I had my card compromised a few months after a purchase. I am inclined to believe it was because of another retailer but maybe I have been blaming the wrong people... I doubt it was them because I have made so many orders in the past and since without issue.

X-Reload & Higginsons are two entirely different companies. I have dealt with both & have not had my data compromised. Crossed fingers.

My shooting buddy got his card compromised at x reload. Mine, same day also.
We did told the x reload owner to check their web site security ...somebody access the data for sure.
They will do that they say.

This had me thinking. I've only had my card compromised once and never knew where it occurred since I used it at quite a few places. It was a few years back, but now when I look back at the statements from the time, it was within a week or two after an order from x-reload. This is starting to sound too much of a coincidence after reading all these posts...

Been frauded 2 times in less than a year. First time, the CC company caught it before I did ... spending in Britain on a bunch of take out food. More recently (just a few weeks ago) got my CC bill in the mail, and found a couple $300 payments to a Petro-Can in Montreal (I live in B.C., and have never been to Montreal) ... called the CC company right away. I know that one was right after a purchase from X-Reload. I think the first was also, but would have to check the paper trail to be certain. I have a couple regular payments charged to my card, and other than that it is used only for on-line purchases, so it is pretty easy to track. I do like X-Reload, but no more purchases by me until there is some confirmation that they've put an end to this s#&*.
Thanx gents ... glad I happened to noticed this thread!

Ordered something from them 2.5 years ago. 2 weeks later over 1600 worth of stuff from sporteque (no idea not French) shipped to a Quebec address. I'd say they have someone in their business or accounting department scamming cards. I will never buy anything from them again. Their prices and selection aren't that impressive either.

Wow, it seems someone makes more money having access to X-reload databases, than X-reload makes money on selling stuff. I wonder if CC fraud dept ever interrogated this business about possible data leak. Shouldn't the retail store be responsible for the safety of customer's data? If not - might so upload it to Twitter for a better effect.

I am sure CC company are on it and X Reload has nothing to gain to be cut off of accepting card. Their business is 95 % + online and they have everything to loose in all this.

Got a prepaid cc card that I can fill any amount I want from my bank account. I use it for the amount on it and thats it. It cannot be scammed because there is minimum money left after the purchase. But you don’t have a credit line on it other than your own money. But I like this for online purchase.

Not perfect..but it work for me so far.

Firearm owners will jump back on the ship as soon as the retailer stocks varget or Berger bullets, or any out of stock scarce reload components/tools.
This is our new reality.

Long time xreload customer.
I do find this situation irritating though, have had my CC compromised twice this year and once last year.
Don’t know for last year, but twice this year was linked to xreload.

My credit score took a hit.
