Anyone Else Hunting On Christmas Day?

I just had a nice Christmas Eve coyote hunt and missed a shot on a yote I called in after he winded me. My first miss this year at about 150 yards on a running yote. Oh well, I'm planning to hit a bait pile in the morning before doing the family thing tomorrow. Anyone else doing this?

Yes I was out for a couple hours tonight sitting over my bait tonight. I seen one but didn't get a shot I may get out in the morning before the gang gets here for dinner.

May go make a few calls if the bloody wind stays down to a dull roar. Pretty quiet tomorrow just me and the wife and our daughter, and two sucky dogs. Got a 19.5 lb bird so we shouldn`t go hungry. Have a good one.

Not hunting but I will be hitting the range first thing in the morning. Picked up several boxes of different .223 ammo today to try in my new Savage. I don't like Christmas and avoid having anything to do with it, so I might as well do something I do enjoy.

Sunday hunting is allowed in Ontario? We're trying to change the minds of the idiots here,so far nothing new.

In most townships it's allowed. It's been a hard fight though. I was involved with 2 townships to get them to allow it.....

Rabbits are scarce here too,they have been in decline for a few years.This "cycle" they're in now is not normal,partially blame the Coyotes for it.

With this good weather we are having I hear plus six today,coyote hunting has to be on the agenda.For some reason they have really been responding to the call the last few days.

Typically I walk our bush lot hunting grouse on Christmas Day. Not this year however. No Sunday hunting in our township.
