Anyone have a Stalking rifle to flaunt?

This is my sled dog, because it has a harness so nobody can say it's not a sled dog.

And this is my saddle horse, because it has a saddle, so nobody can say it's not a saddle horse.

The vet says the one's a cat and the other is a sheep but I identify them as stalking rifles...er, sled dog and saddle horse.

:)

Happy New Years!

Lol.... Xactly, Sir, er.... Zim, er.... Zer, er.... They, er.... whatever personal pronoun you go by....

Going to use this one for some stalking in Namibia.

AHR DGR in 375 Holland and Holland.

I hope with the cats and sheep with saddles that this rifle doesn't offend anyone or derail this thread in any way.

A few things would put me off of that rifle, the partial ejection, the external/manual hammer and that ridiculously long barrel....

I actually really like the styling, but I'll stick with my Ruger No.1-A .303 Brit... hammerless, full ejection and the intelligent 22" barrel.

Merry Christmas.

I wonder how many Sako MN 9.3x53r moose stalking rifles are in Canada? I'd love to have one of these buggers to tweek up.

This one might qualify as a stalking rifle. Mauser Oberndorf sporter from the 1920s. Came to Canada with a load of surplus from Bangladesh.

These are the Ross M10. Factory sporters in 280 Ross.
I have a few sporterized MKIII military rifles in 303 British as well but they are not stocked as nicely as the M10's.
