Anyone have an idea what my 2 .45's are worth?

True and false, first it's not a 1911, it's a Government model; second it could have gone to war if it is one of the 5000 contracted Colts by the Canadian Government in 1914. By the serial number, I am very confident that it is one of those.

Quite possibly. In the C3000 to C8400 range, 1000 were Canadian contract pistols. OP should contact Colt to get a verification letter.

Awesome!~

It will be another 7 years till we get a reply.......he's one of those monks that are only allowed to communicate every 7 years.

with a first world war pistol... maybe he's a vampire or a time traveller trying to reconnect with the humans of this age...

Pictures of Colts

Since the OP didn't post any pictures or answer a few of our questions, even though he logged on 3 times since he started his first thread .....I figured I would help him out by posting pictures for him to keep the thread alive.
Luckily I had a 1914 WWI Canadian contract Colt only a few numbers apart from ''his''......................and a 2nd gen SAA NIB.
OK
