This is ment because the sleep camp itself is one building only! Not closed in and has bunk beds!( for the older guys you can have bottom bunk dont. worry )haha Some spouses would not like having another female there.
Then the cook camp in another building....
If anyone else is interested please let us know!
 
I have hunted from camp with many different people over the years, I have learned a few things about camp partners.

First, very few "hunters" have the same ethics and hunting styles, that scratched quite a few off my list of who I will hunt with.

Two, I don't like greed, whether it be with camp supplies, having to be the shooter all the time, wanting more than their share of meat, or just downright shooting too many animals, tags or not, or animals that should have been left alone, again the list gets shorter.

Three, personalities don't always mesh, sometimes by no ones fault things just don't "click".

And lastly, respect, for others in camp, others hunting the same area, the game we chase, LEO's, whatever, if they aren't respectful and grateful for what we have, their out.

In the last three years I have had to tell others I will not hunt with them again for the reasons above, every year! So sad...


So I can totally understand screening potential hunting camp partners, I can also understand the co-ed side of it. My wife has hunted with me a lot, and I will go far out of my way to accommodate another, female or otherwise. Anything can be worked around for such a situation if you know the person and everyone trusts each other.
 
Sorry about the woman getting turned down. My wife hunts with me and a friends wife hunts with me. I have hunted with my buddies wife (just the 2 of us) and there is trust between our group. I would never support a "hunt camp" that will not even consider a female hunter as a partner in the group. Yes our sleeping accommodations are communal one room bunk beds also. We give the women privacy to change for bed first while we can change in the main room. So guys if your afraid of your wives getting pissed because there is a strange woman hunting with you, she won`t be strange for long. Your wives and friends were strangers once. Most of my best friends are my hunting buddies (men and women) alike. So I say to the so called hunt camp Get off your high horse and give the Lady a chance. Poor Sports that you are.
 
I have no objections to having women in a hunt camp, if the consensus of the camp members agree. Obviously in this case they did not. It is there choice and right to have in there camp who they wish.

Some men like to get away from there ladies, have the companionship of other males friends only so they can, fart, swear, scratch there nards, play cards and drink, and hunt without having any women around. And they is nothing wrong with that. Ever hear of "girls weekend" were the ladies go off as a group and do girl stuff. Same thing, and they have every right to do that to.

Part of the equation of being free, is the freedom of associating with whom you want. And the members of this camp have made a choice, and you may not agree with it, but you must respect there right to choose.
