Anyone know what bullet this is?

Well, they don't look like seconds and I don't have traces of this RN bullet in that weight in the littérature I have in hands. My guess is that it was either a "specific for caliber" or a run fotr others Under contract that they "surplused". But I am not sure at all and an item or product # would answer the question. Thanks for your reply.

I remembered that I had the recovered bullet from my bison hidden somewhere in my sock drawer. I dug through it and eventually turned it up. Mangled as it is I could still see some of the cannelure and it is different than the OP's bullets. Mine are the more common "serrated" (for lack of a better term) cannelure. So definitely not the same bullet. As I said, they're the old red and tan Norma boxes. One of the "elder statesmen" could probably date the box or if Ted remembers when he picked them up. Mine also show the brass on the inside as well as the outside of the jacket.

I like how thick those bullets are toward the nose. They should perform very nicely. Go ram one or two into a moose and report back to us!

This is an enjoyable mystery.
