I personally find the appeal to this rifle would be to folks using it for a survival rifle or backpacking rifle. Anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors and doesn't want to have camo everything realizes that it is easy to lose things that are not brightly coloured. Brightly coloured items can also save your life in an emergency situation in the wilderness. So I can appreciate this rifle for what it is. Will I buy one solely because of this? No, because I could just spray paint any item any bright colour I want.

Don't see the big deal with red, if it's that bad, just do a $10 sandblast and $60 armacoat sprayer kit any color you want and good quality finish, done! Problem solved!

I must be in the minority, I don't mind the red at all. Which is fine since I recently bought a lot of ammo so my next purchase will have to wait a bit; seeing as most are not a fan of the red, it should be waiting for me when I am ready to buy!

The sponsor's link I posted, they sold 2 in the last 4 days, 22 left. At least 2 people don't mind the Red. I just can't see many paying a $50 premium for it (other than a carry bag and the colour) unless it came with another mag or something, but that's just me.

We have sold several red ones but still have inventory in stock. No black ones came in and I suspect when the new black guns arrive the price may be very close to the red ones. Phil.

I'm waiting for all 24 to rot on the shelf because of the colour and the price come down to sane levels for a plastic play time gun.
Then I may swoop in and grab one. I don't care a shred what it looks like, it's the ridiculous price tag that keeps turning me off the plastic sub2000
I think it's a cool/novel little plinking toy but not for that price.
Lets see how long they can afford to have them all collect dust before the sale starts! lol
