Well besides keeping an eye out on my Bee hives for Black Bears this spring, will be looking for a good energetic young blood such as myself for a fall sheep hunt, in mid BC, going for California Big Horns this year the stone sheep can have a rest this year, but I hate going alone (for fear of injury in the middle of no where).
Currently I have a large cat situation on my back door that is taking the ungulate count down around here, I just hung another buck head up in the trees for the birds/flies to clean up, that's two dead deer found by the dogs in the backyard from the Cat kill's this past month.
Everytime I come across this cat in my backyard I have nothing but a stick in my hand, but once I had my 30.06 and missed (lucky cat that day and dumbass behind the trigger).
Been craving some kitty for dinner lately, one of my favorites.
So for now I've got Cat (cougar) on the brain, but would like it if I could win a draw for Rosevelt Elk on the Island.
Good luck to all those out there, with their draws this year.
