Anyone own a JIC shotgun? I know PGO shotguns aren't that practical but I bought a Road Blocker and the thing is a blast. Just wondering if anyone has this particular JIC shotty. The Marine unit looks pretty cool as well.

Post pics if you like... along with any mods to your JIC.

I've got the 500 JIC and she's lasted me quite some time, and has since taken on a few features. The only issue I had with her was one of the shell stops bent after 500+ shells, and she wouldn't feed anymore, but a little bit of time on the vise with some pliers and she's back and good to go, not a bad shotgun at all.

My wife wants to get a boat (yeah I know, lucky ####### am I ) I want to get a Mariner for it when the time comes... awesome looking gun too

I have the JICII (as many know) which is essentially the same SG but with a Cordura "backpack" instead of the ABS drum. Mine is finished in matte black vs blued.
It's very handy and light compared to my full-sized 20" 590A1. The Raptor Grip tames the recoil of high brass shells very nicely.

So are these canisters useful or do all the people toss them in the garage? The Marine version seems to have cool stuff in it, multi-tool and knife.

There's an 8 shot version as well:

Just bought a Mossberg 500 JIC $359.95 at SFRC with their 10% code, "sunny" that is good on anything in stock until 11:59pm PST tonight.

That's it, going to have to stop buying Mossbergs for a little while. Money is flying out of my pocket.

I own the JIC Mariner version. Great shotgun! The knife and multitool that come with it are low end items. I would never bet my life on them. If I was using this really as a Just In Case kit the first thing I would do is toss the knife and multitool and invest in a much higher quality end knife and MT.

If anyone else has a tube/canister to part with, I am interested - I will trade a brick of .22 ammo for one in the Edmonton area.

So people want these things? Maybe I'll throw mine on the EE for $25 when I get it cou:

I'll have to see it first, of course. Hopefully this week I'll receive my JIC from SFRC.

People want the canisters/tubes more than the gun from my experience. Always someone in the stores asking to just buy the tube. $25 is loooow if you ask me. Its waterproof so all the shtf doomsday fanatics want them, or they want them for guide work and hunting.

Really? A guy earlier in this thread gave his away for nothing.

I like that Raptor Grip you got there. I may just have to get one myself!
