Every year I take a couple days for early moose season and use my Ruger Alaskan in 416 Ruger with open sights. Sort of old school I guess.

That's awesome, I'll be doing the same with my .375H&H this year.

I had good fortune with Winchester new production Model 1895 in 405 Win. For this years Bull Moose. Open sights @ 50 yards coming to my cow call.

The seasons already started for my newly stocked Brno 22. I spent a year and half building the stock for it, can’t help but smile every time I use it.

Special year for me because going to be a first-time small-scale outfitter, cook, guide, and butcher. When the clients are gone then I will head out with a 1961 Steyr Daimler Puchs fullstock in 7mm Mauser. Pretty stoked about the whole thing.
