i would have thought that 1800# to the CFO for reporting a dangerous firearm owner number would have been called MANY times on these guys by now.

Criminal records for Careless Use of a Firearm convictions (not a trivial thing).

What they did was illegal, stupid, sadistic, repugnant & disgusting:mad: but they didn't axe murder the Pope.

Emotions are running high & we need to keep a little perspective here.......the punishment needs to fit the crime.

What this episode does illustrate in spades is THE POWER OF THE MEDIA to sway public opinion & why we need to use the media to promote our agenda if we hope to have a chance of winning our fight with Wendy & the Liberals.

this shows how the media can be good for our cause as well....too much Mr. nice guy with gun nutz and outdoorsmen....we need to sling some mud too

i was at a local wildlife park this past weekend and took in a jaguar training session.....the keeper repeatedely refered to "hunters" killing the cats for their pelts and pushing them into extinction

i sent a polite well informed email to the owner and recieved a polite email right back, supporting hunters and fishermen for their conservation efforts, and was told that the narrative would read "poachers" from now on.

what more can a guy ask for?:D

how is it, no one ever relies that we hunt for food? and not for slaughter? what they did was slaughter.
 
There was no section 109 (firearms prohibition) If there is no weapons prohibition then the CFC is not in a position to revoke their PALS. They could argue having firearms poses a public safety risk, however all sentences have a box that says "section 109 considered and is / is not appropriate" A JP/judge ahas deemed that the nature of their offences do not require a fireams prohibition. It would be difficult for te CF to trump the Judge's consideration.

The only conviction of any significance is the Careless use charge, the other federal / provincial statues will not even show up on CPIC.

Some opportunistic anti has got to Fraser & is taking advantage of the spot of limelight that he is currently experiencing & is attempting to use him as a talking head to score some anti gun/hunting points with the public.

The man (I use the word "man" here in a strictly biological context) is obviously so abysmally stupid that it is childs play for anyone to lead & manipulate him.

It makes sense that a man full of misinformation re. hunting, would find enjoyment in the senseless illegal slaughter of animals.

The only thing these guys have done is be total idiots and fail to understand the arbitrary value that we have placed on ducks over pigeons or gophers. Dare I say this: Had they slaughtered animals that didnt interest hunters or farmers or weren't particularly 'cute', would the public outcry for blood be the same? Likely not - though a crime that needs to be dealt with has still been committed.
