Anyone see one of these in person yet?

not true. most shot guns have removable stock and you could swap it for a pistol grip then it becomes restricted if OAL becomes less than 26.

The gun only becomes restricted when the barrel length is less than 26 inches, it has nothing to do with the pistol grip!

Regardless it still remains a shotgun, it does not turn into a handgun at all. Just like this thing can never turn into a rifle because it is not one!

So is the buckmark rifle

The buckmark rifle has a butt stock permanently attached to the frame. It is not the same! It is cast as one piece of solid metal.

So, as another point of reference, a T/C Contender frame and the rest of that family line, can be built to be a pistol, as can the AR-7 Explorer. But not Restricted.
If the mounting attachment for the stock is such that a hangun grip cannot be attached, that takes the 'handgun' argument out of the picture. Or, it should.

The potential for flying crap, from the cylinder/barrel gap, and that it's boot ugly, are pretty much the main reasons I wouldn't care for it. But, there's something out there for everyone, isn't there?

I don't get it... its an eight shooter, with a Pic rail for a flashlight, and a tacblack stock, but its an eight shooter.

Sorta like ya put three guns in a blender and see what comes out... I think enough's enough with these ridiculous marketing tangents. Almost as bad as the Mossberg 'chainsaw handle' shotgun.

Its actually a 9 shooter...and why not? Its only .22 rounds...you have room to have more then 6!!!

No. The Buckmark Rifle does not have a permanently attached stock. The metal frame ends about 1" into the wood stock.

A few facts about the Buckmark Rifle.
  • The Buckmark stock comes off, 2 screws and 1 bolt later and it is off
  • The Buckmark has an 18" barrel
  • The Buckmark OAL is less than 25" when the stock is removed
  • The Buckmark Rifle has an identical action to the Buckmark pistol
