anyone think they would buy a Canadian made M14 chasis system?

So, given the above, a reliable Canadian source for quality BUIS is required.
It's not getting any easier sourcing those from the States.

Funny you would mention that...

Any chance for some 'concept sketches' soon....:D

I'm not willing to release anything yet. Once we have a final prototype done we'll release some photos. tell then we're taking your suggestions.

That's what I was fishing for...:D

Just read the whole thread. Your putting in the proper work, from my studies of Marketing, Project Management and Project Planning I would say you are covering most of your bases by doing focused studies, asking specific questions and listening to feedback.

In addition I know you have the resources and ambition to pull this project off. Your CZ/VZ project looks great. Keep at it, many of us are interested to see and likely purchase a product as you have explained it.

Well you guys are asking for pics so I'm gonna give you a teaser of the prototype. These are made out of a Kevlar reinforced polymer we're testing, we'll also use aluminum once we have a design we're happy with.

Very Slick,

I'd be quite happy to give my money to a canadian manufacturer if they're making decent stocks, I'm just hoping your guys stocks are going to be similar-ish to the troy MCS stock.. a straight line from the barrel to the shoulder which will help reduce muzzle rise, sharp looking (hey I think the MCS is pretty snazzy :p ) and fairly light? Where do I sign my life away? ;)

Aslong as the stock's strong, and the weight's not too crazy, I'll be happy.

It's looking interesting sofar though! :)

Thanks for the encouragement guys. The peice you see is just one part of the system and I can tell you that what you see will be different in the final version. I just wanted to tease you a bit. :D

Aah then yes and no. Ours will have an adjustable stock height, think Vltor but different :D.

I'm betting the force transfer line, with the bore line inline w/ the stock assembly, ala Troy MCS, Laz2000 folder, and ACPKING's Socom light;
No 'drop' to the stock...

We're thinking that modular is the way to go. So our system will have the primary sight rail integral and then all the secondary mounting points will be capable of bolting on pic rails of various lengths. This would keep the weight down to a minimum but still allow the user to mount up whatever they want in a variety of locations including 01:30 and 10:30 on the rifle.

I think this is excellent thinking.

When 45ACPking was starting and asking for input I told him to make rails optional. Most rails are wasted. You only need a couple of inches per item, and the rest does not get used at all, and often you feel the need to put rail covers on in certain places for comfort. Why have a full length rail on the side, just for mounting one flashlight? I think making a clean, lightweight rail to which you add whatever length of rail you need, and only where you need it is the right way to go.

I also think a slimmer, cleaner look is more "badass", especially if the lower bits will be polymer.

Looking forward to the completion of this. I am definitely interested, and FTR, I also like your CZ-58 rail, apperture rear sight, and would definitely encourage an AR BUS. Keep up the great work!

Looks cool, can't wait to see it finished... also where's those m14 recievers? Give up hope due to costs or is something in the works? Kinda feel like building a m14 from the ground up now :D

Receivers are in the works, we're currently talking with a couple sources for USGI M14 parts kits and receivers. The Canadian made receiver project is in development but keep in mind that is a long term project and something we need to get right the first time.

Thanks for all the support guys!
