The CASM scope mount has none of these problems and it is about $80 cheaper after tax and shipping.
Yup., Thats all fine and dandy. Only problem is, you have to remove the iron sights to install it. that in my humble opinion is a HUGE FAIL. Anyone who removes their irons for the sake of a scope deserves to be flogged for all eternity in M14 hell. What happens when some zombie knocks your scope loose or carlos hathcock shoots through it and the scope is down?
I admire your efforts and really like the design AND that you are a Canadian company. If you could only develop the same rock solid system that had some kind of QR system on the stripper clip guide and/or side mount bracket I'd be sold.
I do commend you on the 2nd version with the emergency backup peep sight, however, when it comes to my M14's iron sights, I'll have to quote Charlton Heston my friend!!
