I have an SR22 (similar to the 10/22). No issue with the yellow jackets in the factory 10rd tubular magazine, no issue in the HC3R 25 rd magazine, but I get 1 or 2 misfeed out of my 25 rd Ruger mag and 25 rd Butler Ck mag. I think its a function of those mags (proven in the fact that when I can get CCI, I get about the same misfeed ratio). The yellow jacket has enough energy to cycle the action properly in the SR22. The shape of the truncated bullet tip on the yellow jacket may be at play too.
The Remington Golden Bullet is a similar energy round, 1500 fps I think, but the bullet is RN plated. Much better performer in the SR 22 than the yellow jacket.
