Reading about 3 gun matches has really caught my interest again, enough that I would like to try it.
However it seems that almost everyone uses an AR .Now why should I spend all that money when I have a perfectly good M14. I want to do it but the cheap way and not have to buy an AR. Besides the money for an AR will buy lots of ammo for a gun I already own.
So then a few questions. 1) has anyone used their m14 at a 3 gun shoot 2)are you at a disadvantage using an M14 3)If the M14 works, are their any extra things I need to go with it..mags, red dot..
Please give me a few suggestions for the shotgun and pistol as well. I was thinking a Rem 870 and an Armco tuned Norc to stay cheap.
p.s
I am hoping to drive the 2.5 hours to Kamloops to see one in action and possibly give it a go if I get it together
