Anyone used MUR uppers for their builds?

Here's my MUR upper/Noveske lower build.

The UAR costs a bit more but I do like the fact that the FA and deflector are all part of the same billet. The IUR FA and deflector are separate from the main receiver and held in place by a roll pin. Not that there's any high pressures or external forces acting on it to possibly break it but it still is a possible point of failure.

I just found a UAR so I got it, I really like the rounded cam pin it comes with and the burnished bore. We'll see how it works!

Haha, ya, it's my safe queen for now. I've shot it about 3x so far but the MUR upper has been out just once since I shot it. I had a DD upper then a MI billet upper and now the MUR. The MUR upper has only 60rnds on it, if that?

That's a new Rainier Arms Precision Match NiB BCG I picked up from the EE back in Dec. Haven't been out to the range as yet. :p

A close up of my Noveske marked upper. A have an FDE Magpul grip coming to replace the basic grip... Had an FDE ergo grip on before but it's a bit too big for my hands.

Damn.. It looks sweet. That bcg too.. Which one is that?

That's a good BCG but check if you can find the Spike's tactical BCG nickel boron. Out of all my carriers they have proven to be the most reliable.
JP Enterprise makes good ones too. ($$$)

All depends on what your prepared to pay.....and clean :)
