Anyone using Magwedge mags for a CZ shadow 2?

I wonder how you remove the bit of material making a lip to slide over the base.. looks like a notch at the end but does not go deeper into the pad..

That is a support so it doesn't fall while printing and will cut out easily with an exacto knife.
I found lots of variations of that baseplate on my lunch break so i'll print a few this evening and see how they turn out.

Sorry I shouldn't have said the finishing on the Corwin mags is subpar, I meant the design. Yes they work, and if you are really struggling on a budget to afford mags for your gun, they work. The design however is the old style design that seems to have had an attempt to make it more current by changing the cutout on the spine up at the feedlips. Instead of the normal square cut for the slide to move through and strip a round, it's been made semi circular instead. But it looks like it was done by hand after the fact. On the 2 samples I was sent neither was the same shape and very rough. As well they have the old thin sheet metal basepads which can be hard to find replacements for if you're wanting to put something a little easier to grab on them.

Maybe you were given early versions or prototypes or something? Mine (while a different design than the factory mags, like you said) are all very consistent and have obviously not been hand worked at all. They also function perfectly. The base plate does leave a bit to be desired, however.

I don't have any mecgar cz75 mags in 9mm, but ther 3 I have in .40 all have a very similar circular cutout.

Bought 4 of the beretta ones for my beretta, changed the base plates to the rubber imi ones with no issue, bought 4 of the cz ones for my stock 1 and put xtreme baseplates on with no issues and bought 4 more of the cz ones for my shadow 2 and put the plus 2 mecgar baseplates on those with no issues and all have worked flawless in all 3 guns, I see very little difference between the corwin arms beretta mags and the factory beretta ones or the corwin arms cz mags and the mecgar cz mags other then the blue follower, as for the baseplates id change them out regardless of which mags I bought.

Those pics above are waaaay different than the ones I got from Corwin. Mine looked like some drunk with a round file had gone in and done that cut. Good to see that they have improved that.

Very strange, all mine look like those ones and the very first ones I got from corwin arms I bought before you did the review of them plus I dont remember the ones you sent Dano looking any different than the others he bought from them either.

yeah the semi circular cut was a lot different, lopsided and rough as crap. More like a partial tear drop or something.
