I have one of these and it's great!

Under the molle on the front there is a pouch about 10x10x1" and it's completely lined with loop Velcro. You can stick a lot of different accessories in there and it is still very low profile.

There is a zipper that runs the full height of the pouch on both sides so you have easy access to anything in there.

D0 you still have it ? Got any pics you can post?
 
I just tried to snap some pics and they all look terrible. I just have my cell phone and it's not easy to get a good shot of front compartment.

BadBoyBeesons photos are better than anything I can create.

I have a couple of Maxpedition Velcro mag carriers in there. They are holding a flashlight, multitool, a small first aid kit, and a few other small items.

You could fit 4 AR mags in there (horizontally) with the right Velcro pouch.

And anything you put in there is accessible with either hand.
 
I just had another idea...

Put S&J Hardware Detachable Shotshell Carriers (the DSCs are Velcro) in there.

Slap a couple DSC pouches on the front and you've gory ourself a grab and go shotgun rig.

I may buy another!
 
Very tempting, just not sure given some of the reviews I've seen about the 'universal' sizing (seems like it only fits well for those in a narrow height/weight/shoulder width range - ie those with a small-medium build)
 
I am 220 and 5'11" and it fits really well with level 3A 10x12" shooter cut plates loaded.

It still has room to adjust for an even larger wearer.
