Look at the LAV video. That side folder is super low and he runs a low mount Aimpoint.
There's no way I would be able to run a scope comfortably.
Heck even with my ACR I had to get the PRS stock to use scopes. And teh ACR has a higher stock check weld.
This is all for fun any ways, until I actually hold it in my hands Its just a guessing game.

my point exactly, i think itll be aimpoint micro and the aimpoint magnifier in the long run
The stock is only too low for scopes and mounts made for the AR's 1.5" optimal height above rail...
The rail on this rifle is already quite a bit above the axis of the bore, it makes sense to keep a sight or scope as low as possible.
There is such proliferation of ARs and accessories for them that I think the shooting public tends to modify the rifle to suit that family instead of developing or demanding specifics that suit another model.
I am surprised that common features and developments such as a butt stock with an adjustible lop, or QD sockets for slings are not included with this rifle. The cost of accessories common to B&T is also of concern.
I think I'm going to hold out on this until I at least get my hands on one.

Sounds like you want to be dealing with the CFO on a regular basis to have the classification changed then wait for three months for them to actually complete it.
It is completely illegal to install a restricted length barrel in a non restricted firearm without having the classification changed, you can not take it to the range until you/they have completed the change of status to restricted.
Then when switching back to non restricted the rifle remains classified as restricted until the classification change has been completed by the CFO so even with an 18.6+ inch barrel it would still be a restricted range only toy till the paperwork went through.
You do have a three month grace period from the time you install the restricted length barrel in the non restricted rifle but the only thing you are allowed to do with it during that time is take it to a gunsmith or certified firearms verifier to have the paperwork done for the change in classification. You are not allowed to take it to the range during that period and it must be done every time you want to swap back and forth.
It is not as simple as a phone call each time.
If you want a restricted rifle and a non restricted rifle you'd be better off to buy one of each but that will be pricey. Utilizing the barrel change ability would be great for multiple caliber options but not for restricted/non restricted barrels.
I went through all of this with the CFO and firearms lab people when I was considering my options for my ACR.

Yes I'm aware of the process, but I'm not going to drop 8000 dollars on two rifles when I can have one for range use while I find a manufacturer to make me some custom. Barrels in a 1:8. .223 and an NR .300 blackout barrel for a little over half the price

I will be putting a scope on it, will experiment with ring height.
BTW, it is not just ARs, Tavors also need fairly high mounts for optics. In fact, with the SAN diopter sight model, to mount a scope it needs to be high enough to clean the rear sight. That's why SAN makes an OEM cheek riser for it.

I probably won't be an early purchaser and will hold out to see how they perform.
