APC223 Non restricted whos getting one ?

Yes but a way better out of the box trigger, better assembly, make and manufacturing.

These are swiss made military firearms just like a Swiss arms and if you have ever owned or played with a Swiss rifle then you can feel the quality just by picking it up

Well to feel it I'll have to wait for another year I guess. I don't usually trust quality referred by country, rather by company and model. And B&T is a private company catering small orders worldwide but as I'm aware none of their product represents major line of military firearms for any country.

Except that a mjortity of their parts go out to HK for many of their firearms production

This will be on my to buy list this xmas.
Saw the LAV video shooting it with an aimpoint set on a low mount, so thats what I'll put on it, this thing will be heavy as is, cant see a mag optic on it.

I saw the LAV video too, but never dreamt that this beauty would come to our shores. Once again kudos to Wolverine for the homework they do!

Saving my money for HK243.

I'm hearing ya there. Looked at the current list of guns in the lab and with a lot gone through recently including the B&T the short list left includes the HK243. Would expect a call on that soon. It should be about 7.5 Lbs. A bit lighter than the 8.3 Lbs of the B&T. If I wanted a heavy rifle I would still have my SL8.

looks impressive, after some googlefu found this, 1 MOA at 100 yds with an 8.5" barrel

Wholey carp batman! 1 MOA with iron sights no glass! Amazing. If you believe it.... I mean really who here can shoot 1 MOA at 100yds with irons. No one I know. This guy must have a Steve Austin eyeball.

Moe

You will need a cheek riser to make this work with optics, like the Swiss arms. The g36 suffers the same problem when they want to issue a new rail mounted 4x optical sight, and HK has to design a new adjustable stock with an adjustable cheek rest.

If you desire to mount a reflex sight, you can probably get away with the lowest and most basic base plate. To work with such low mounting the BUIS must be proprietary. The problem is that I don't see a magnifier mount that is low enough.

People should really think about this when picking the correct stock option- the cheaper skeleton stock may not be a good choice for optics. You may want to think about the upfront cost vs the cost of buying and waiting for an upgrade later on.

How does one place one of their children on the EE?

Do you have your children in possession and legal ownership to them? If yes, you can post it to "exchange for other stuff". Don't forget to post a picture with your username and the date written on a piece of paper, and have it stickied to their foreheads.

Their website says nothing about STANAG magazines, only says 30 round polymer. Would those that said they were STANAG/AR pattern like to share where they got that info from?

No one going to complain about not being able to change the grip on it? Looks like it's part of the polymer lower from the pics. Oh no, a polymer lower, must just be a toy as that will surely break. Must feel cheap and be brittle in the winter. Heard that a thousand times on this site about other rifles that use polymer in their construction.

I can't find any info on barrel swaps or caliber conversions which would be an important factor for me in buying one of these. They have a 300BLK model on the B&T website but there isn't a lot of info.

Looks like a decent rifle and I'm glad there is another NR option available but for $4000 I'll pass and keep waiting for the DTA MDR.
I'm glad it's Wolverine bringing these in since their customer service is incredible, at least anyone buying one won't have to worry about it being a lemon since Wolverine will work hard to keep their customers happy.

Dilli, please explain what the Tavor or ACR "need" out of the box. You wanting to change everything doesn't mean it actually needs anything.
