APC223 Non restricted whos getting one ?

I must say, after some thoughts, a decent loooking quality Non-restricted 9mm sub-gun is very tempting, as long as it doesn't look like a narwhal. Not sure how many intermediate calibre spewing carbines one needs for doomsday prepping really. But a NR "EDC" in 9mm has many confined space benefits. The only damper will be the lame 5 rounds since there isn't a mag designed for pistol, right?

If you're considering doomsday prepping then who cares about rivets and barrel length, if it gets to the point of it becoming about survival then there won't be any more rules and you can just use whatever you have or find. The guys that were once police will be in the same boat just trying to protect their families and survive, no one is going to stop you and ask if that magazine is correctly pinned or if that barrel is 18.6.

I'd like one of these but I have a hard time with $4000 when I already have multiple semi auto carbines in restricted and non restricted that will fill the same role as one of these.
I'll hold off making a decision till after I've handled one and maybe had a chance to shoot one.

I'll probably get one of these instead of a modern varminter. I am interested to see how they would compare

My guess is that they will be more reliable than a MV but not as much potential for accuracy and more difficult to get warranty work done. Support will probably be close since Wolverine is involved but they're not the manufacturer and parts have to travel a long way.
You better buy both and give us a full report on how they compare ;)

The doomsday thing is tongue in cheek, your highlighted sentences is what I meant.

So much want. Glad it's not available yet... next year I should be able to afford one :)
