Oh that desert tech mdr is a ###y rifle. I'm not a big bullpup guy but hnng that rifle gets something just right.

And while i personally find the apc223 overpriced if the 308 is comparibly priced and reliable it is definitely a viable option in my eyes.

How is it overpriced when they are selling ACR's for almost the same price now...lol... heck even C.C Ar's are stupid money and you need big brothers approval to buy one...lol..

Heck I just paid 2600 for a X95, now thats overpriced... lol...

Not overpriced at all (i mean i would love for it to be cheap) considering its swiss made. Bought the x95 otherwise would have bought the apc, will buy it for my bday :D

There has to be a limit as to what folks will pay at some point - even for something swiss made. If I get something swiss made, it would probably be a watch ...

The problem with overpressure ammo is it's not a problem till your gun is in multiple pieces. The problem with underpressure ammo is you might be dealing with squibs.

And when mv varies from 2840fps to 3470fps in one lar mag on a 20 inch ar, that is definitely a cause for concern.

Did the rifle cycle every time? It sure did. Do i trust the ammo to not decorate my face with 7075 t6 aluminum? Absolutely not.

If you trust it. Great. I don't.

I wonder how many tens of thousands of rounds of Norinco suplus have been fired in canada? 800,000? 2 million? Ive shot probably 5k, and im just one dude.

Don't waste your money on a watch, biggest waste of money ever. I bought a TAG and have regretted it since. Beautiful watch but it just tells you time and date just like a cheaper watch. I should have bought a Timex and a rifle instead :)

There is a limit for a lot of people, that's why Wolverine is not bringing in enough of these for all of us.
I'd like to try one out but I'm not going to drop $4000 on a rifle that doesn't do anything my ACR won't do. I'm saving for the MDR, if we get them here non restricted I'll buy one and if I like it I'll sell my ACR.
$4000 seems like a lot compared to a factory Remington or Savage bolt action but it's really not that much more than what we have been paying for a Swiss Arms for the last 15 years and this is a modern design that will come with better coatings, materials, ergonomics and machining.
Even an XCR is close to $3000 these days and Rob Arms compared to B&T would be like comparing Hyundai to Porsche.
For me it's less about the cost and more about it not doing anything better than what I already own to justify changing.

I am definitely looking forward to some reviews and range reports from the first guys that get these.

It's automatically better because it costs more? Have you compared the two for the qualities and attributes you've associated it being better at?
