And what 7.62x54 not approved but on the list of approved ammunition.

As far as next post from Bcshooter. I believe it has nothing to with 70s or 80's importation as list was established in 2006. Again correct me if I am wrong.

Double Tap ammo
I spoke to NRCan about importing some .44mag ammo from the states. http://www.doubletapammo.com/php/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_35&products_id=118
He told me that as long as I was under the 5000 round limit I would be fine. I specifically asked about the Approved Ammo List and he said it didn't matter.
Any advise?

.222 rem. mag. brass
Does anyone carry .222 REMINTON MAGNUM empty brass or can get empty brass. My dad left me his .222 rem. mag target rifle [sako barrel and action] when he passed away. I am having a terrible time getting new brass. The bullets and powder are no problem as it is .224 which there is lots of, just finding the brass has been a headache.
